As an only child, I couldn't imagine it. But I see it with Jay and his brother. And it is at a huge volume right now. Sharing an uncommon last name is really screwing him over right now.

well... when my sister when nuts, it was embarrassing the things she did--- but it was more hurtful and i felt sorry for her. sometimes i was embarrassed for her-- when she stood up in court and told the judge that i come thru her electric lines and her cell phone, it was just sad.

Oh, hell, yes! Particularly with my oldest brother, who is 81, is very Old School in everything, and has no qualms about speaking his mind. When I go places with him I'm always on the defensive of what could come out of his mouth at any moment.

And growing up as the late-baby in the family, and the only girl, they teased me good when I was little. But I've done my share of embarrassing the family, too. When I was about 3, in church with my brothers several pews behind me, I got fed up and shot them the bird in front of everybody. They still talk about it today.

No sibling, that is until I was in my 40's and met my half sister. Dumb as a brick but I didn't have to tolerate her beyond the few days she and my mother spent with us that one time. It wasn't very much longer after that I accidentally (rightttttt)lost her address.So no I was never embarrassed by a sibling.
