    This movie opened two weeks ago but I just got around to seeing it. (It's been
    raining a lot - I haven't got out as much). It is an action/adventure flick staring
    Jason Statham, one of those ruggedly handsome guys who you want on your side if
    going into a dangerous situation.

    The story centers around Mei (Catherine Chan) a precocious Chinese girl who can
    instantly memorize whole sheets of numbers. She is grabbed by the brutal Chinese
    Mob in NYC to transport codes because it leaves no computer trail. Then she is
    grabbed by the equally brutal Russian Mob who wants the codes to a safe combination
    she holds. Add New York's Finest, also brutal and on the take, and there is nothing
    but bad guys all around. Mei escaped from the Russians and is being pursued Luke
    (Statham) gets comes to her aid and cleans up some bad guys.

    This movie is action and that is pretty much what goes on for the rest of it as Mei
    and Luke battle Russian and Chinese Mobs and the crooked police. I thoroly enjoyed
    it.

    Got taken to The Avengers today. Really liked it. Hoping to see Dark Shadows soon.

    The after credits in Avengers was nice lol
