We have a company here locally that does our taxes for us, they are expensive , but since we have both American and Canadian incomes its easier to let them do it. Then one of us gets a refund the other gets a bill, and they are close to the same amount. So we wait for the refund and then pay the bill. So its easy enough to do both.

No question: paying. Filing is only a hassle if you continually put it off. If you do it the same week the forms come, then smooth sailing.
