Yes. I wish we could have given my wife that extra morphine when she wanted it, but someone would have had to go to jail for life to satisfy some Christian edict that all ppl must suffer needlessly.

It would depend on how much assistance was needed. I am not going to ever kill someone, however I might make an effort to find the drugs they needed to do it themselves if I knew the person was in terrible pain. Both my father and my aunt had colon cancer, there was a lot of pain involved and both were towards the end given morphine as often as needed and so both actually died of morphine rather than the actual cancer.
