Everyone is so quiet.. so how was your day???

i had a migraine.. played hookie from work... then received a call saying that the big boss of the plant presented me with an award! in front of everyone and i wasnt there! lol They are all kissing our butts cause the post master general is coming to our building in a few weeks.

then after TWO months of NO contact... chris writes to me as if we have been talking every day! wtf... he is all "i love u. can't wait for us to marry... i miss u so much" blah bah blah.

really??? he better come up with a big rock if he thinks that im waiting around another year until he retires. jerk.

so in the meantime.. i DID meet a guy that i like an will be seeing again. gonna have my fun.. adn then when chris gets home we can maybe work things out

I am plopped in front of the TV watching "CSI" with David Cassidy. Still an attractive man. But, holy cow, this was the guy with the long hair and vests that made the Partridges worth watching.
Oh, so managment is preparing for the big pony show coming up, eh? Bend over and offer 'em both continents, honey.
My day was uneventful. Had lunch with a friend and otherwise blobbed out. Very tired lately.

Same old same old. Made it home alive.

Made it thru another day at a job that pisses me off daily. So, off for three days and hope that Michel and I will get together tomorrow.

I got cramps.
I've been operating on 22 hours of sleeplessness.

And my mother is one bold woman. This woman JUST called me 20 minutes ago:

Ma: "Yeah, I'm on my way up there, I'm driving"
Me: "What?"
Ma: "I'm coming to your house. See you in the morning"
Me: "I gotta work in the morning. Why didn't you tell me you were making plans for a visit? And who is coming with you?"
Ma: "I decided at the last minute that I was going to attend your cousin's birthday party. There's six of us. I rented a mini-van. See you around 8 am. Bye."

SMH. Now I gotta clean up and prepare.

someone wrote BOHICA (Bend over Here It Comes Again) on one of our forklifts. A manager saw it and asked what it meant--- we have a high filipino population in work... and someone told him "its filipino for caution" the boss said, "oh.. we should have all the forklifts painted with it" lol

I'm actually not that appalled by it per se because I do want her to see my new place and she did mention that she was thinking of coming up, but she had no plans to the last time we talked, which was last night. I just wished she would've called me earlier today. And some of those folks are going to be in Jersey with my cousin, not at my house.

Slept til noon after being kept up all Thursday night. Froze my ass off. Hit the salon. Stylist is awesome. Haven't been this happy about the cut in years. Had Chinese for dinner. Despite the cold it was a pretty decent day.

You had Chinese (food) for dinner? We had Chinese (food) for dinner! Another club we could form! I finished correcting the corrupted songs on my iTunes. Did a little laundry. Had a friend stop by with her crazy sister for a bit. Up passed my bedtime now.

Running around with my mother shopping all damn day. I only bought one pair of shoes. I'm beat.

Worked in the flowerbeds, refilled the bird-feeders, filed paperwork, took a snooze. It's been so exciting I can't stand it.

i straightened up my apt for the cleaning lady for tomorrow... bought some new "toys" and had a pretty relaxing day

Meh, it was okay.

My day was quiet.

I'm beat. Must have traveled close to 200 miles. Had to check out some buildings in 4 different towns. It was still a nice change of pace.

well... friday night i wound up at a bar after work with a couple of old friends... one being chris' childhood best friend--was even the best man at his wedding. they havent spoken in a couple years. well... chris has been a jerk lately... the friend is a really really nice guy... who was just dumped a few weeks ago and totally heartbroken. hmmmmmm... we hung out alone on friday night... tonight he asked me to go out with him for a long drive. hmmmmm... is a real mustang enthusiast and we are planning on going to carshows together. All i keep thinking is: Straight, Single, has a job, owns a home (rather than living with his parents), no kids (so no baggage).... hmmmmm he's a real catch. we'll see

Nice car - Tho I was more interested in the guy.
